STREAMO MARINE FL00RING5 FOR 5HIP INTERIORS Ease of ■ Evercare surface installation I treatment Masking & directional pattern • The flooring shall be especially designed for ships and offshore platforms interiors Product construction • The material shall be a 2mm thick homogeneous vinyl flooring available in sheets and tiles. ► The flooring shall be flexible for an easy installation using flash coving technique • The joints shall be hot welded with round welding rods of 4mm diameter manufactured and supplied by the flooring manufacturer • The type Binder Content shall be Type II ► The marbleized pattern of the material shall be masking and directional Surface treatment ► The flooring shall have a lifetime wax free surface treatment obtained by UV laser cross-linking process to ease the maintenance, reduce its costs and to limit the risk of micro-scratches • The flooring shall have an R9 slip resistance according to DIN 51130 to reach a good compromise between safety of passengers/workers onboard and ease of maintenance • The flooring shall conform to the IMO requirements detailed in the Fire Test Protocol (parts 2 & 5) • The flooring shall conform to the Marine Equipment Directive / US Coast Guard • The Type Approval Certificate shall be recognized by Transport Canada • The flooring shall conform to the SOLAS 74 Convention • The manufacturer of the floor covering must be in possession of a valid quality systems certificate, showing compliance with ISO 9001 • The flooring shall comply with the guidelines for development of Inventory of Hazardous Materials Resolution MEPC 269 (68) • The flooring shall be free from heavy metals (Lead, Cadmium, Barium, Tin, Chromium...). • The flooring shall be free from DEHP plasticizer • The flooring shall be free from any substance potentially subject to any REACH restrictions • The manufacturer of the floor covering must be in possession of a valid ISO 14001 and 50001 certificate • The flooring shall have very low VOC emissions (< 10 pg/m3, after 28 days)
